About me

First I started to play drums when I was around 8 years old, combined with basic music theory and a little bit of piano. There I learned how much fun it is to be able to play an instrument and play along to music.

Later in high school, my best friend played guitar and we got together almost every lunch break to write our very first own songs. That’s when I learned the basics of creating something yourself and working together with other people. As time went on and the pandemic hit, I decided to learn how to play guitar and record all of the songs we had written so far with a simple audio tool we had used before in school called audacity.

And that’s where things started to take off: I taught myself how to play chords on guitar and piano and started to learn all of my favourite songs. With a loop pedal and a computer at home, I made music every day and created my own songs for a whole band. I quickly realised it was a big advantage to be able to play different instruments in order to create and understand music and also to communicate with other musicians.

While doing this I found that vocal melodies started coming to me naturally and I started really liking some of the stuff I wrote. With vocals, I could finally feel like I finished songs and before knew it I was even considered a “singer”.

As I got better at making music, a lot of opportunities presented themselves to make make music in different settings and with other people. That’s how I met some of my very best friends till today, it’s really incredible to be able to share this passion with other people.
